Quick answers about tyre collection, recycling, disposal, compliance and pricing.
How is the service priced?
Pricing is based on volume, tyre type and transport distance from our Motherwell operating site. We offer competitive rates for single collections or regular scheduled collections. Contact us for a free, no-obligation quote.
What paperwork will I get?
Every collection comes with full waste transfer notes, duty-of-care documentation and all required compliance paperwork. You receive proof of collection and responsible disposal for your records.
What happens to the tyres?
Collected tyres are transported to our licensed facility, inspected, sorted and processed. Depending on the tyre grade, they are recycled into tyre-derived fuel, rubber crumb, sports surfaces or re-used in approved civil engineering applications.
Can you collect from my site?
Yes. We collect from garages, dealerships, farms, fleet depots, recycling centres, local authorities and industrial sites across Scotland. We can arrange one-off collections or regular scheduled rounds.
What tyre types can you process?
We handle car, van, motorcycle, 4×4, truck, agricultural, earthmover and industrial tyres, as well as tracks and belts. If you are unsure about a specific type, just give us a call.
Are you licensed and compliant?
Yes. Envira Recycling is fully licensed and SEPA registered. Site Licence No: WML/L/5010666. Waste Carrier Number: WCR/R/3021543. We operate under strict environmental and duty-of-care regulations.
Do I need to prepare the tyres before collection?
No special preparation is needed. We ask that tyres are reasonably accessible for our collection team and that you provide an accurate estimate of the volume so we can send the right vehicle.
How quickly can you collect?
Many collections can be booked within 24–48 hours. We also offer scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly rounds for trade customers with ongoing tyre volumes.
